Using https://github.com/caffeinated/modules/blob/master/src/Caffeinated/Modules/ModulesServiceProvider.php (a lib which is built for Laravel 5) for reference, I have made the library work with Laravel 5.

This has been resolved in the L5 branch we're working on, which should be out very soon :)
