PlanetScale's free databases will stop being available by the end of March 2024 #63

I recommend switching to railway's Hobby Plan, for now it's free-ish, $5/month + $5 free per month by default.

These two offer free databases but are pretty limited https://filess.io/ https://freedb.tech/

I haven't been able to get a fully functioning ServerlessWP (I'm not sure if the problem is my alternative DBs)

I've been using Railway for other things and haven't had it stop. But it might be the combination somehow. Let me know if you get it working.

Have you used with railwayapp. Is it works fine with the serverlesswp ??

I had the same problem, I tried using https://filess.io/, I managed to install the new wp, but I can't access the admin because it doesn't exist, it only shows the first post.

Is anyone working on this or have any suggestions for replacing PlanetScale?

you can use TiBD which has a very generous free tier; if you plan on using this you need to make sure you're following this tutorial since there's some changes you need to make to make serverlesswp/wp compatible

@returnkirbo TiBD works! Thanks Note that it also requires wordpress-tidb-plugin to show posts on wp-admin and frontend, otherwise it just says no posts found.

There was a problem, check your function logs for clues. getting issues while using Supabase. did you find any solution
