One thing noted in the work to be done of the ticket not yet here is using 'emoticons' (text graphics) as options for the spin direction (instead of plain text).

I think it's fine to delay this work until we start using inline images so that we can select the emoticons that best match the images, but we'll want to capture that we moved this work from AS-3 to AS-8.

@jimbo797 to get practice at doing that, can you update AS-8 to contain that work? You can reference / copy over the language form AS-3 (and then make sure to strikethrough it / delete it)
