Unable to clone the repository via git-lfs

Client Platform Details

macOS git 2.17.0
git-lfs 2.4.1

Setup

1. brew install git
2. brew install git-lfs

Steps to Reproduce

git clone https://github.com/mitre/brawl-public-game-001

Error Details

git clone --no-checkout https://github.com/mitre/brawl-public-game-001
git checkout 88c831a0c6207b640dc690b53a33501e33e1310e
git checkout -b my-new-branch-with-regular-storage

for me downloading archived fork as a zip worked (Also checked allow downloading lfs files inside repo settings before) it pauses download for a few seconds before resuming again so wait
