It looks like if I disable and then re-enable the Mitro Add-on, I can get the icon to appear without re-installation. This is a little bit of a better work-around, and maybe provides some insight into what the cause could be.
Interesting. Since you posted this recently you clearly have the fix. I wonder if this is related to the new Firefox process model. We'll have to look into this one as well. Thanks.
Yes but for example I have the problem that it doesn't work: big fonts and no automatic logins. (I already tried to remove it, reboot firefox and installing Mitro again)
I'm using Firefox 33.0 on Ubuntu 14.04. I'm experiencing #40 as well, but I think this problem is separate. After I get the plugin installed and work around the login issue, it at least provides the ability to fill login forms until I restart Firefox. Once I restart Firefox, I cannot find the Mitro icon anywhere in Firefox and it won't prompt me to login to any site. If I go to Add-ons, it is listed (and shown as enabled). If I reinstall Mitro it again begins appearing. But it requires re-installation each time I restart Firefox.
