3 years ago Someone reported this issue tool on the Firefox reviews page, who says it stopped working with Firefox 88. But just tried Firefox 87, same issue. Guess more changed on the Instagram website because the others browsers don't manage it that good either anymore.

3 years ago I did not update a thing but now it is working, kinda. Though not the full size image. But not sure if Media Helper is intended to get the full size one?

3 years ago @Ascathon Out of curiosity, what was the plugin that got the full size link? Nothing I've just tried is able to grab the one above 1080x1080.

3 years ago Still not working, Firefox won't download it. It grabs the correct URL, but if Firefox tries to download it directly it won't work, the image/ video must be open in a tab and only then it will be possible to download.
Maybe have a option to at least be able to change from trying to download to open in a new tab or even other option to copy the link.

3 years ago @huntfx "Image Max URL", great for other CDN's but for IG nowhere as good as Media Helper.

3 years ago it seems that the plugin did not work at all? Maybe instagram has something changed? or was there a plugin update. I can't download anything, either story or picture and it did not work on any browser - i tested chrome, edge and firefox.

3 years ago Hello everyone. version 1.18.0 fixes the download failure bug.
Full size images will be fixed in the next version.
Not able to pinpoint it yet but I am having troubles downloading Instagram posts with Firefox. When I click the download button on either a post or story, it shows up as failed in the download manager. Same on a different machine. Both Firefox 88 and Media Helper 1.17.2.
When I check the failed URL in the download manager I can use this one and copy it to the address bar. It will show me an image, a smaller one though. It isn't the resized/full version. For every image, for every account.
I also tried Edge and Chrome. It does seem to work in there but I am not getting a full size image either.
