By the way, I looked at the other 'archeys' and this is by far the best I've seen. I mean code-quality and portability. I love python, but the python 'archeys' I've seen are pretty ugly.
Kubuntu's logo is actually kinda looks like a sprocket, I didn't have time to recreate it in 17-line ascii-art. You can see it at: http://kubuntu.org ..also here's a screenshot of what the Kubuntu-fix looks like on my system: (also at http://imgur.com/30U79EQ)
Nice! Thanks for writing this, and happy to hear that you found the code readable, I agree that there are a lot of messy archey ports out there..
published on npm as v0.0.4
I needed Kubuntu support for my own system, I modified the Ubuntu art file (changed the color to Kubuntu blue), the other detection methods are the same as Ubuntu's (and work flawlessly on my system). I bumped the version (mainly for my own needs, it would bother me for it to say 0.0.3 on my machine when I know its not the original 0.0.3). Anyway, I got what I needed I was just forwarding the result in case you wanted to pull it in. Thanks, Chris
