Before I put more work into it, I wanted to check whether you thought a less-functional layout was a worthwhile addition or not. I noticed that the markdown-styles README says "Every layout has also been updated to include a default highlight.js syntax highlighting theme." This layout would only have the CSS used by Bootstrap's template, no more or less. Here's more about what the template permits.
For this reason, I named the layout bootstrap4-starter-template instead of simply bootstrap4.
If this layout is something you could imagine accepting, please let me know and I'll finish it. If not, I'll keep using it as a user-supplied layout like I have been. Thank you.
