Error: Black screen after startx #15

After I call startx, I get a black screen and nothing happens. nwm seems to load through .xinitrc, but I see no mouse and get no response from events. I will post the logs below.

Looks like the mouse wasn't showing up, but NWM was loading fine. It worked after I loaded xterm.
