Code like path.join('c:\\', 'c:\\markdown')will outputting c:\\c:\\markdown, you can say it's node's problem.(: is allowed for filename on Linux)
path.join('c:\\', 'c:\\markdown')
c:\\c:\\markdown

Tested on both Windows and Linux.
I found this by my self (I was using markdown-styles), but this guy issued about this before me.
