I dunno im just throwing around ideas, just go for the one which should prove to be the better UX + not so hard on your end.

This functionality is already in our product backlog. The syllabus will save automatically. When it will, we'll still have to deliberate on. On Nov 1, 2013 3:45 AM, "Kevin Olsson" notifications@github.com wrote:

Imagine this scenario:

  • Professor starts creating new Syllabus for the first time
  • Reaches the select Rubric portion
  • Opts to create a new Rubric
  • Complete a new Rubric, only to find out that the progress on the current Syllabus he was creating is now gone
  • ????
  • Rage quit.

Suggestions:

  • creating a new rubric would open up on another tab (though the form won't update after the professor saves it, you will still need to refresh = bye bye progress)
  • we save forms every time we enter a new section
  • we save the form (locally?) when entering create rubric from syllabus

I dunno im just throwing around ideas, just go for the one which should prove to be the better UX + not so hard on your end.
