The phraseology here is rather dated!

I guess Carla or Guitarix would replace Jack Rack, maybe RaySession and jack_mixer.

JACK is always fully capitalised.

We need to add LV2 and mention it's the successor of LADSPA. Some hints where Mixxx is looking for LV2 plugins (per OS) would also be helpful.
