Even though auto-starting learning is a nice feature it complicates mapping controls that require a Shift button being pressed:

press & hold Shift
pick the action you want to map
(hold Shift)
use controller to start learning

We should require users to explicitely press Learn to start listening for incoming MIDI.

The nice thing about learning automatically is that you can very quickly blast through a mapping with Click Wiggle Click Wiggle Click Wiggle. If there's a way we can keep that functionality it would be preferable.

I think we can fix it by adding a checkbox

[x] Auto-start learning on incoming signals (checked by default)

plus a brief description how this is useful for Shift+control mappings.
