Mixxx Manjaro 2.2.4-4 will not connect to streams #10367

This program recently updated 03/20/2021 on my Linux Manjaro KDE Plasma, and now I cannot connect to any streams. This is the LATEST version that is available for my system, according to the PAMAC.

The error I get is:

One of the Live Broadcasting connections raised this error: Error with connection '(name of connection)': Can't connect to streaming server

According to https://repology.org/project/libshout/versions Manjaro uses the broken libshout 2.4.5 See https://bugs.launchpad.net/mixxx/+bug/1913579

This has been fixed in Mixxx 2.3 beta by switching to libshout-idjc, (that in addition allows AAC-HE broadcasting).

I think a straight forward solution is to checkout the 2.3 branch and follow: https://github.com/mixxxdj/mixxx/wiki/compiling%20on%20linux I think the Arch Linux section should apply to Manjaro as well.
