Does not really have any effect. Tried different settings.
+db makes preview after analysis worse. -db has not effect
The problem comes from switching from a not analysed track to an analysed.

Hi Mixxx Team!
I noticed since Version 2.3.0 there is a litte annoying Bug in pre-listen volume.
When you first load a track with pre-listen analysis is made, so also Replay Gain calculation.
If you play a track which was not analysed (Replay Gain = 0) and you switch back to a track which is already analysed (e.g ReplayGain = -8dB), then for about 1 or 1.5 sec the already analysed track is played with an extrem loud volume. (Played with +8db) After that second the volume is corrected and it plays correct.
I find that bug very annoying, when the volume of your speakers is turned very loud, because it nearly blows your ears away.
I tried with flac and mp3, it is not depending on file format.
Operating system: Linux Ubuntu 21.04
CPU architecture: Intel i5
Your video and sound hardware: Pioneer Controller DDJ-SX2
Steps to reproduce the problem
Reset Replay Gain on one Track
Preview that track
Preview immediately so already analysed track
Information logs I can apply it if needed
