Window for adjusting tags to big at smaller displays (e.g. 1366x768) at Linux Mint 21.2 #12484

Bug Description

See the screenshot. Sometimes the window is so large, that the buttons at the bottom not reachable

Maybe adjusting the size policy of the comment box helps, so that it has vertical scrollbars if the content requires that. Though size policies are usually tricky, we also want the comment box to expand if there's enough space.

For now you can use the button hotkeys.

Though size policies are usually tricky, we also want the comment box to expand if there's enough space. Don't know what you mean with it....is that a seeting inside Mixxx? If Yes, where?

For now you can use the button hotkeys. Sometimes there a no hotkeys because of larger Window. F11 - Fullscreen is a Solution that works. But maybe you improve that in the future Mixxx versions

The size policy can be adjusted in c++ and Mixxx needs to be rebuilt.

The hotkeys work regardless if the buttons are visible. Just move the window up once so you can see the buttons, and press Alt to toggle the hotkey hint (underlined characters).
