Record each deck to separate wav file #12813

Feature Description

Can a feature be added to record each deck to a separate wav file?

This would, in general, be useful for mastering mixes. The rationale behind this for me is that I am recording a short radio mix. I will probably want to do some minor edits after recording (e.g. clean up transitions) so having each deck recorded to a different wav file would help with this.

As mentioned in the forum, I think this applies to mic and aux, too.

Record each channel to a single file:

As a workaround, you can already output each mixxx deck individually, so if you route each of those into a separate channel on your DAW and record within that, you can achieve the same.

Yeah, that was my recommandation as well on the forums https://mixxx.discourse.group/t/record-each-deck-to-separate-wav-file/28976/4

Easy on Linux, but it ight be a bit too much for non tech-savvy users.

On a similar note, I've wondered if AAF support would be feasible, i.e. if we could export a multi-track recording (with a track for each deck, potentially even a distinct region for each song) that could subsequently be imported into any major DAW.
