3 months ago Sorry, for me it is not entirely clear what exactly the issue is, except that there is some issue with the levels. (the volume meter is about the loudness/level, not quality) Also, to me, this sounds not not like an issue with Mixxx, but rather like a support request for which we have the forums -> https://mixxx.discourse.group/ (here we're on the bug / feature request track, maintained by developers, while the forums are a good place to get help from other users)
Anyway, please explain your setup (audio routing). Or setups? Please share a screenshot of Preferences -> Sound Hardware (both the uper config part and the configured inputs and outputs. What's Zeno? Btw "echoing and hollow" sounds like there is a microphone / feedback involved, i.e. the Mixxx main output is mixed with a mic recording of it.
Bug Description
Hello... I wanted to share my problem. It seems like it is not only in Mixxx. I am not sure if it has to do with audio type or it is a problem with my circumstance.
So I was trying to push the audio input from U-phoria UM2 to Zeno. Apparently, when I use the tracks and upload the mp3 files in the mixxx the volume meter shows a better quality for the audio, yet the input audio is not with a good quality. In the stream it is also echoing and hollow.
I tried everything to get the volume metter show better quality to get a bettter quality audio in the stream but it is not as good as when I load the mp3 file into the mixxx and stream them.
I found out that audio coming from U-Phoria is PCM not mp3 could that be a problem. I hope it was clear. Please let me know if there is a fix for this.
