Has any developer has been thinking about sound fingerprinting (FYI) #13944

Feature Description

I just saw interesting project about it. It shows similar track, and can use for showing nearest too. I think its more clever way than use sound color or timbre. or just BPM and key values.

Any thoughts ?

We use fingerprinting for Musicbrainz lookup: https://github.com/acoustid/chromaprint

Is there an other use case you like to add to Mixxx?
