After the PC resumes from standby with a running MIXXX, it is not possible to play tracks or load load a new one to a deck.

It was tested on ubuntu lucid 32 bit with current trunk 2836.

This sounds like the audio device isn't being restarted for us. Can you open the preferences, go to sound hardware, hit 'query devices' and press 'apply'? If apply is still disabled after hitting query devices, change something (like latency) and then change it back to your preferred value and apply will be enabled.

Hitting 'query devices', changing Latency and Apply helps to reanimate Mixxx.

Just changing latency to a different value and back, then hitting Apply helps too, (without 'query devices')

we should see if Qt provides a cross platform signal for this that we can hook into

Doesn't happen on OS X -- CoreAudio must support resuming from suspend.

This bug showed up on Ubuntu 15.10 (Wily Werewolf) amd64 with Mixxx 2.0.0. Going to Preferences, Sound, and "Query for Devices" and Ok re-animated Mixxx (without changing any other parameters, like latency.)
