Thanks Udo -- there is a talkover strength knob that is not exposed in the skin you are using. Try "Deere" from the developer skins repo?

Hi Ryan,
yes iam using "Deere" Skin. The Knob right near the "Talk" button stand full high. The Problem is, the same Mic have in Linux other Input-Level as under Mac. (Div. Hardware)

Are you using the "developer skins" deere skin or a fixed resolution skin? The fixed resolution skins in master do not have the ducking strength knob.
Also, the code now has a gain knob (to boost, not just limit volume) for microphone but no skins expose that currently.
The skin I'm talking about is just named "Deere", located here: https://github.com/mixxxdj/developer_skins/tree/master/Deere
It's not in "Deere1280x800" or the other resolution dependent Deere skins.

We can reproduce this bug on MacOSX with the current stable release: 2.0.0 build (1.12 r5772)
Changing status to Confirmed

@B.L. Can you confirm the original bug description?
It looks like we are facing a similar bug that only effects MAC users. http://www.mixxx.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7929

@Daniel Schürmann
We are using Mixxx on Windows and Linux too, and the bug cannot be reproduced there; so, yes, it is a Mac-only bug.
Concerning the original bug description, we can't be sure if the metadata is sent for the first track because we use radionomy and when it switches from autodj to livedj, the first metadata radionomy sends to the players is the metadata of the last song played by a livedj, not the one from the first track of the current livedj.

I'm seeing this on Windows 7 with version 2.0.0 (build 1.12 r5772). I'm working on a shoutcast proxy server and am not seeing any metadata embedded in the stream coming from mixxx. I've attached a log showing all output from mixxx to a shoutcast source server. In this case the source server is my proxy.

@Billy Boy -- I believe this should be fixed on Windows from build master-git6150 onwards. You can download an alpha to try it out here: http://downloads.mixxx.org/builds/master/release/
Can you please give it a try and let us know if the problem is fixed?

Hello,
at the Version 1.12. alfa-master 4239 (All Plattforms Linux / Win7 /Mac intel testet) we have a metadata Bug.
If Mixxx connect to Shoutcast, the Artist and titel is transfer to Server and looks ok.
But after 2nd Song, the Artist - Title is no refresh with new data. (Hold the Value of 1th song)
Also when start the 3nd and so on.. the value is static.
Regards
@Wishlist: The new Talkover works Fine - congratz- but i missing a configuration for trigger value.
Reason: The input from Mic is not equal all Mic-Types. Often the Input of Mic is 100% but the Music is to high for Talkover - elseware the DJ must scream :)
