Which software does it? Do you know which protocol is used? How do you wish to see this info in Mixxx?

I know SAM Broadcaster does. SAM combines from all servers into one. I currently have to use 3 websites via a webpage with all 3 on one page. I can give you the URL privately.

http://support.spacialaudio.com/wiki/SimpleCast Hier is the Sam manual.
If I see it right, libshout does not support reporting server stats. What are the options? Does the icecast server have a kind of back channel for it?
It looks like we need to connect to skins if statistics relay. Do you have info about it?

By the way, SimpleCast is now SAMcast and they have a 7 day free trial after which it's $199 just to do the encoders and gather stats. https://spacialaudio.com/sam-cast/

I just thought of something that goes along with this. A visual (VU Meter) showing the level of the signal that is Recording/Broadcasting. Nothing worse than having a volume turned down somewhere (external mixer) and broadcasting silence. A VU Meter would show you the level of the broadcast audio.

When broadcasting it would be nice to be able to see Viewers/Listeners listening to the feed. Some software I've seen actually plots it on a chart broken down in 5 or 10 min intervals. When more than one encoder is used it will combine the number of listeners into one readout.
