Pick up mermaid 10 #188

Follow up on #184

This also rewrites how error handling works. This is kind of under-documented in mermaid but I believe that we only need to handle parse errors

Any thoughts on when this will be released? Looking forward for the mindmap and timeline features from mermaid 10.
