image Temperature in mode 8C is displayen as in normal mode so for example 13 becomes 29. image

@Janjo100 You will need to help me here, because my AC does not support 8C.... I looked it up and when you switch on 8C, the following needs to happen:

  1. AC mode switches to Heating and that is the only one you can select
  2. Temperature you can select is from 5-13 degrees
  3. The 29 degrees you see, it that automatically set by the app (and you expect 13 degrees)?

Is it possible to add some screenshots from the Toshiba app so I can see how the handle this?

Thank you for looking into this.

  1. Correct.
  2. Correct.
  3. If I set 13 degrees in the Toshiba app, it becomes 29 in Homey. If I set 12 it becomes 28. I added a screenshot from the Toshiba app, in this case set to 12 degrees and the view in Homey for the same setting. If you need more information please let me know. Thanks [image: image.png] [image: image.png]

@Janjo100 I have created a new version supporting 8C much better. Can you please test it? https://homey.app/a/com.toshiba/test/

Janjo100 commented 1 year ago

Thanks, I am sorry to report that it seems to freeze during installation with the message below: [image: image.png]

@Janjo100 I can't read your picture. Question: did you re-install your device when I released the previous version? If not, that could explain the issue. Otherwise, can you please re-install your device and check if you have the same issue?

Now I did delete first and install after (from windows PC chrome browser) if that matters but it freeze at the same message. "Toshiba will install on Homey shortly." I do not know how to install from Homey iphone app with the link

I tried it now and it is different. After I choose to add device (press "+" character in Devices menu, choose the Toshiba icon, the Airconditioners icon and press on the green button with the text "Connect") I get the menu: Log in with your credentials Username Password and blue button with the text Log in

But I can not log in with my Homey Username and Password. Best Regards Jan-Olof

@Janjo100 You should login with your Toshiba Username and password and not with your Homey login (the one you are using for you app).

mjilesen commented 1 year ago

@Janjo100 There is a new test version: https://homey.app/a/com.toshiba/test/. Please be aware, that if you are using a when card in a flow to set the temperature, you will need to add a new one if your device supports 8C. I had to make sure that old flows are still working.

mjilesen commented 1 year ago

@Janjo100 Version 2.0 is released very soon (as soon as Homey approves). Please repair you device and it works :) (I was able to test it...)

mjilesen commented 1 year ago

@Janjo100 Works now (tested by other people) in version 2.1.0
