This commit advances issue #63. Couldn't implement all the tests since as of right now I couldn't figure out a way to reliably test fadeIn and fadeOut. Most of the functions I'm missing have this functionality, and it's crucial to test this, since it specifies the main flow of the web app. Pushing this right now since some tests are better than none
