IGN (Geoportail) maps do not work anymore #25

Open Raph-g opened 6 years ago

Hello,

IGN maps provided by Geopportail used to work perfectly but now when we select them, map tiles do not appear. Instead there is white tiles with "Accès refusé" (Access denied).

Is there any solution ?

I confirm this problem !!😠😠😠😠😠 Solution ? Thanks !

Hi, there !

I've fixed it by generating my own IGN API key on http://professionnels.ign.fr/ign/contrats Then I've removed providers.xml from my Locus folder and import a fresh new one with my API key.

This is working fine.

I think you can also go on geoportail.gouv.fr and dump their key, I'm gonna make a PR to use this key by default with good headers to make it work.

You could use updated provider.xml from https://github.com/mjk912/LocusMapTweak/pull/26 to fix this issue if you dont wanna wait for a merge.

Raph-g commented 6 years ago

Thanks a lot, I generated my key and modified providers.xml as you did in #26 (I wanted to try with my own key) Thanks again !

Bonjour, J'ai mis à jour provider.xml et Géoportail n’apparaît plus ! (je suis revenu à la version précédente...) Que faire ? Merci

@39Olivier

I've fixed it by generating my own IGN API key on http://professionnels.ign.fr/ign/contrats Then I've removed providers.xml from my Locus folder and import a fresh new one with my API key.

You could use following provider file too : https://raw.githubusercontent.com/eliecharra/LocusMapTweak/e3d4430942ff65fbcd0da03a51aaeb7e19685e0f/providers.xml

Try to kill / restart your locus app

@eliecharra Thanks for your efforts! Are you willing to let your API key go into the public version?

FYI: Unknown people don't give a damn about mass downloading map tiles, if needed or not. Unknown people don't give a damn about 'be carefull, don't stress the servers.'. Unknown people don't give a damn about you or me. They just focus on 'I'.

API key provided it PR #26 is not mine.

mjk912 commented 6 years ago

OK. Anybody willing to provide their private API key to public?

eliecharra commented 6 years ago

Why you need someone private API key ? Use Geoportail's one or generate your own.

NF53 commented 5 years ago

Could eliecharra or another clarify: I can still access Geoportail 'ScanExpress Classic' maps as shown in the example screenshot on 29Sep17, without any resort to API keys, so this confuses me a bit. Was this an unfortunate example of Geoportail services, or is there a more detailed explanation?

It is true that the other Geoportail map services within MapTweak do not seem to work - I assume the API key is needed for those.

Update in 2022
