@vitorgalvao Until they tell us their secret, nobody in the open source community has any idea how to do it, so it's effectively impossible. That's the point the readme is trying to make, and your change completely obscures from the reader.
@vitorgalvao Also, have you tried using that feature of SizeUp from within Yosemite? If not, I'd doubt it works at all on this version of OS X.
I strongly disagree. When you say “literally no app can do this”, I doubt anyone will read it as “no one in the open source community”: “literally no app” includes everything, open source or not. What the README says to me is “we know it’s not possible, so there’s no point in trying to find a working solution”. The opposite is true, though: it is hard but it is possible, so trying to figure out how should be highly encouraged.
And yes, the feature works flawlessly in Yosemite (10.10.2), which is where I tried it before opening the issue.
@vitorgalvao I'm not opposed to accepting this PR, but I'd rather have it worded so to indicate that all help figuring it out is welcome and encouraged.
Working on a better wording right now, will submit soon.
New wording in #548.
:cake:
Regardless of how they do it (I do not know, and it’s a closed-source app), SizeUp supports moving apps between spaces, and does so without a hitch; it works well and consistently.
Maybe they’re using some hacky way to do it, but either way it isn’t true that no app can do it.
