Provide report of workflow states #45

Admins might find a report showing workflow states (published, draft, archived, or custom states) useful.

Interesting report available in the new OJS release (the Submission, Review, Copyediting, Production are workflow states in that application):

It's a submission and peer review application, so not exactly the same as most Islandoras, but the layout is interesting and effective.

@manez, any thoughts on how something like this might be of use/interest to Islandora repo managers?

I have just started scratching the surface of UPEI's rdm suite, but they've got some pretty advanced workflows using content moderation that seem like they'd feed right into a dashboard like this. Indeed, seems like this kind of snapshot would be handy for any site with advanced workflows, to get a sense of how things are moving through the process.

Can the repo reports module cope with custom workflows on a report like this? If the states available will vary from site to site, I assume that the report would need some configuration to tailor it for the individual installation.

In the absence of empirical data to support a "Yes", I'll still say "Yes." Content Moderation allows you to create your own states and transitions, which from what I can tell are just data in database tables that could be summarized in a report like the one from OJS above, for example. I've installed the Content Moderation module on my laptop VM, and I haven't played with it yet, but can do so to see what the resulting data looks like. I'll see if I can grab the RDM configs and install them too.

One aspect of the OJS report that Repo Reports hasn't done yet is the combination of visual charts with HTML table markup. Currently, Repo Reports can generate reports that are either visual charts or HTML markup. Not impossible to combine them like the OJS example, just haven't had a reason to do so yet.
