HI just installed as per readme all i get is not responding with kind of a window trying to open also in admin mode as well win 10 pro latest build 1803 2 screens + 1 topper screen pin2dmd device pinscape + main expansion is there a debug log i can post capture

Hi - I'm guessing it's because you don't have PinballX installed on your system. I just did some quick checking and it looks like it'll get stuck trying to find PinballX on startup if it's not there. Here's a bit of a manual workaround that should get you past that:

Copy DefaultSettings.txt to Settings.txt
Open Settings.txt in Notepad
Find the line near the top that looks like "MediaPath = " and change it to "Media Path = Media"
Find the line a little below that saying "TableDatabasePath = " and change it to "TableDatabasePath = Databases"

I'll fix the actual bug and post an update soon, but in the meantime that should at least let you get past this particular problem.
