PBY DOF not working after updating to 64 bit Direct Output #211

After converting over to 64 bit Visual Pinball and 64 bit DOF (64 bit com object), DOF works fine with Visual Pinball but not PBY. PBY throws a DOF error after starting. The PBY log states a "DOF surrogate process" is started because "DOF is a 32-bit COM object". How do I get PBY to recognize the DOF 64 bit com object?

The problem is caused by registering the 64-bit COM object. PinballY only works with the 32-bit object so if you register the 64-bit object it breaks PinballY dof.

I love PinballY because of the unprecedented functionality you built into it and the ability to customize its functionality. It doesn’t get any better than that!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for the reply but that is not the problem, as you stated the problem is PinballY only works with the 32-bit object. My entire virtual pinball cab system, except for PinballY, is running 64-bit versions of VPX, VPinMAME, Freezy, B2S and DOF. I had to reinstall 32-bit DOF just to get PinballY to work again. The temporary solution for me was to use the default DOF folder name for the 32 bit DOF so PBY could find it and to use a non-default DOF folder name for the 64 bit DOF. A more elegant solution would be for PinballY to be upgraded to 64-bit.
