Download link does not work

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Login
2. Opened mail from inbox which has attachment
3. Clicked on download link

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Abe to download the attachments

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version to now

A year later and this is still not fixed? Pretty much makes the program 
useless.  I dont want to have to go to the browser version every time I want to 
view an attachement

The view attachment works and, from this screen, I can upload it to Google 
Docs, but I still need to be able to download the attachments from GMDesk.  Is 
there a timetable for this to change?

Having the same problem. I am unable to download an attachment when using 
GMDesk. This is a HUGE problem.

Here we are in 2012 and the problem is unresolved. Installed latest Adobe Air 
and GMDesk client yesterday. Workaround... open browser and download from the 
inbox there (rolleyes).
