SECURITY_EXCEPTION #94

I have an error SECURITY_EXCEPTION, does it mean my device can't use finger print scanner?

I did some research about Samsung devices that came out before OS 6.0 might not be able to use the finger print scanner? Wondering if its even that if it then had been upgraded to 6.0.1 still wont be able to?
