I couldn't understand figure 3 in the paper. The count of unique subjects increases as the threshold increases as per the figure. But my intuition says, we make the uniqueness criterion stricter as we increase the distance threshold: the subject should be farther apart from the rest to be counted as unique. When the distance threshold is zero, the each subject is distant/unique from the other subject. The curve should be decreasing. Isn't it?
