We could actually follow the link or embed to see if we can determine the type of a web game. Currently, using the link labels only detects only 10/20% of the games...
canvas tag => HTML5
=> Unity (except it might be hidden behind an iframe, for itch.io for instance...)
.swf => Flash
EDIT: OTOH it would require an additional HTTP request, making the scraping loop longer. Is it worth it?
Would a user-driven tagging / voting system help? I don't know which would take more work to implement, but the users would probably tag games more reliably.
