Retraction of a plagiarised edtech book. The final chapter. | Prof. Dr. Marco Kalz

This is hopefully the last chapter of a series of activities I have started nearly one year ago. I had reported a case of AI-supported plagiarism in a book on learning analytics which has been published in German last year (see original post here).

Thank you for the update Marco. This is to a certain extend a positive development. Unfortunately we see that in the mainstream there still is a lack of awareness and content is now frequently being reused without proper attribution. The EU DMA act should bring more certainty here as AI providers will be required to provide information about the source of their training models. It is noticeable that the people in this technology domain seem to delegate any responsibility for their actions quickly to other technology systems. It is a disconcerting development that needs much more attention and public discussion. Thank you for your efforts.
