Provide the ability to remove search engines

Sorry about that... I've been using SmartSearch add-on for Firefox (see
screenshot) and have completely ignored the "search engine" field in
firefox (upper right FF corner). All the mess I had there (like
chambers.co.uk and so on) appeared in the activities menu and confused me,
sorry again. However, that led me to three thoughts:
1) an option to exclude these engines (say, just uncheck "Show FF search
engines") - it might be useful, though for now I'm going to uninstall the
SmartSearch and use MoreActivities.
2) an option not to show the "default engine" - currently I have two
variations "Search Google for..." and "Search with Google" for the same search.
3) the default FF engines won't work on selected links (screenshot 0001),
it would be nice if they do - along with the textareas.
