openService files with whitespace at the beginning don't load #6

The three chinese items with the pawprints don't load.

this is because they have a space before the XML file which is technically
invalid, but IE allows it.

I'm going to allow it because I have run across other files that do this.

fix is to load file into string first and remove whitespace
