How should I use 'ShapeDesriptor' code ? Could the input be a query ? Is there any part that I can see matching performances in ShapeDesriptor?

You should type:

            ShapeDescriptor --in <filename > --out <output descriptor name>

This will output a file whose first line describes the dimensionality of the shape descriptor and output format (“ASCII” or “BINARY”) and the remainder are the values of the descriptor.
