Linux/KMS broke my spirit! #36

Yeah, when will the "Linux" community commit to something that works?
Development of Draco 3.4 was going pretty good, but for some reason KMS in
Linux past 2.6.32 is broken on my computers, all of them! I use Intel on all my
computers, and it has worked good (up until the end of 07), but the KSM/X.org
mess is still not sorted out, giving black screen of death on standard Intel
GMA 9xx-45xx (in ALL distros from 2012). That's 5 years of nothing.

Due too this issue, I'm not sure I want to continue working on 3.4 (or Linux in
general). What's the point? The end result will be unusable.

I'm thinking about reviving the 0.3 branch, and update the kernel to 2.6.32,
and use a old X.org. And just use that version until the end of time, or until
the KMS mess is sorted.

Been using 2.6.32 + drm33 for a day, at last something stable and current-ish.
The next version of Draco will be based on 2.6.32 with backports. Since
DracoLinux 3.4 was tied against the kernel (and the reason for this open
issue), we must revert back to our old version scheme. Next major version will
be 0.4 (already at alpha1 stage soon).
