Hi Megan, thanks for the interest in our visualizations. Here's the shapefile that I read into R as an sf object using line 17 of the associated code for creating these heat maps. From there I keep only the relevant fields which are the geometry to locate it in space and the treatment plant names so I can join it to the virus load data. Hopefully, this makes sense. Feel free to comment back or email me directly (kcurtis@hrsd.com) if anything else comes up. Good luck with your viral load work! Once you get it going I'd be interested to see how it compares to what we're seeing in southeastern VA.
Thanks so much, Kyle! Hoping to be in touch again soon with a figure. First time using animate, thanks so much for the intro!
Happy to help Megan, good luck with the figures and your wastewater work.
Hi there Kyle! Thanks so much for sharing your code in the WBE Slack. I was wondering if you might be able to share your TP_SA_merge.shp file for reference? We are slowly trying to visualize the ww viral loads in our area as well (University of Georgia, in Athens, GA). Thanks so much! Megan
