Animations when flipping the screen to reveal either the map or list on food vc is quite glitchy. Never caught onto this while developing on the simulator or on my device but it's apprenlty quite obvious on iPhone 5 & 5s. Maybe try dealloc the json processing thread when transitioning to and out from a view? Or mess with the main thread?

Temporarily fixed for now. Probably need to mess with threads! Take a shot at it if anyone wants to.
