[ ] use the last used rotation for placing new objects (should be more user-friendly than the current "always 0" Version
[ ] allow the user to rotate an object still in "placing mode" (e.g. before deciding where to put it

as we're having keyboard shortcuts for rotation, this feature is no longer needed.
