A brief introduction to RxJS, likely following agenda similar to:

  1. Overview and aims/goals
  2. Promises and limitations
  3. Observables
  4. RxJS intro
  5. Sample operators and demos (e.g. map, filter, buffer, debounce, switchmap, distinctUntilChanged etc.)
  6. Further info

@slyadams thanks for submitting the talks, it'd be great hear both of them. Would you prefer to give one of them first? And would you like to give one at the next meetup?

Happy to do one at the next meetup, depending on the day/date. When do you usually fix this?

Great! We usually have it organised at least a few weeks in advance. It might need a bit of moving around this time because of holidays and stuff, but I'll get back to you ASAP.

OK, I'm happy to do the TypeScript talk, but will only be able to confirm 100% when the date is known.

Wednesdays aren't great for me, let me check with Mrs Typescript.

Any chance of a Tuesday or Thursday? Monday and Wednesday are really not great for me atm

Would you like the event to link to your twitter/github/personal blog or anything else?

What kind of cable do you need for you laptop? Is there anything else you will need for the talk?

I'll be using my surface pro, so I can bring adapters to provide HDMI male and female. I assume the projector has an HDMI cable? Could you link to http://crisp.software?
