Sorry for the delay. I'll look into merging your PR in the next days, I need to check why those tests fail and update them.

@ntwb I'll close this PR and hope you understand. It is already a bit old and a huge rework is in the process of being merged. Dependencies needs to be updated there as well. Closing for now.
