I'm trying to upgrade to Spring Boot v3, this sure would be helpful to get merged in (and new release cut).

FYI - I've manually built this PR and been running it with my Spring Boot 3 upgrade and seems to be working well. Sure would be great to get this merged and an official release provided to maven central.
