Hi !

I read that you do not plan to implement tabs in the great MiniTTY, that is
fine and you have valid points.
I was wondering if you plan or have looked at implementing Split windows inside
the windows ?
For forced windows user it very handy to have the same functionality as you
have with Gnome terminator.

Great work with the MiniTTY none the less =)

Rejected, for essentially the same reasons as with tabs. Split windows are just
another take on an application-specific Multiple Document Interface (MDI),
which I don't think are a good idea. This sort of thing should be done at the
desktop level, so that windows from any application can be arranged as desired,
with a consistent user interface.

Perhaps I might be tempted if the Windows API had a straightforward way to
implement split windows at the application level, but it doesn't, and
implementing them from scratch is outwith the scope of this supposedly
minimalist project.
