Went through the project and cleaned up some of the eslint errors in the project. Including:

JSDoc fixes - adding missing descriptions and parameter objects (options)
Turning off the 'import/prefer-default-export'
Various whitespace updates
ignoring the 'max-classes-per-file' rule for the base object test file. This may be solvable with mocks in the future.
