OnChange doesn't fire in IE6/7/8 #70

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using IE 6/7/8, surf to http://www.fyneworks.com/jquery/multiple-file-
upload/#tab-Examples
2. Click the browse button and choose a file.
3. In order for the chosen file to get into the "filelist", click
somewhere else on the form, so that the input control looses focus.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Shouldn't have to click somewhere else in the form to trigger the adding
of a file to the filelist.

What version of the plugin/jQuery are you using?
PLUGIN VERSION: Trying to use the examples directly on
http://www.fyneworks.com/jquery/multiple-file-upload/#tab-Examples
JQUERY VERSION: Trying to use the examples directly on
http://www.fyneworks.com/jquery/multiple-file-upload/#tab-Examples

On what browser(s) or operating system?
BROWSER(S): IE/6/7/8

Please provide a link to where the problem can be observed:
URL: http://www.fyneworks.com/jquery/multiple-file-upload/#tab-Examples

Feel free to provide any additional information below.
Have added a screenshot of how it looks after I have selected a file.

Medium priority? Really? This pretty much makes this plugin unusable.
Especially in environments where IE is default.

Also if you click directly on the browse button again then the control actually
becomes disabled. If the user then continues to select another file, when you
click on anywhere on the page the control clones itself! The original stays
disabled and a new one shows up beside it.

The project has been dormant for over a year and many of the support requests
have been resolved and/or are invalid. So we're going to archive them all,
pending review.

If you're still having a problem with the plugin, please visit the project page
and re-open the issue. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,
but please bear with us... we'll be making improvements to the plugin and its
documentation over the coming weeks.

Stay tuned; and thanks for your support!
