If we implement #277 and #278, we could look into this, too.

It's a couple years old, but we might be able to look into the "You Are Blocked" plugin.

There's a much older BP Privacy Component, but it looks fairly complicated, and could cause collisions with our existing handling of visibility.

BuddyBlock looks like it might be good and recently updated, although it's proprietary.
