Bookmarks bar will not show up #116

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Blank Firefox 4 install
2. Install latest new tab jumpstart
3. Make sure "Show bookmarks toolbar" is checked.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The bookmarks bar will not show up, i've tried every combining of preferences...
All of the other options do work (I've removed the sidebar, but the toolbar
wont work even if the sidebar is on)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest, Fresh windows 7 install after my old Hard Drive died.
new tab jumpstart worked perfectly before that

Please provide any additional information below.

It is supposed to show bookmarks toolbar if there's no previous configuration.

Workaround 1:
Go to the right side menu (the one that's dropping down on hover) and select the last icon - that's for configuring toolbars. The page will go to edit mode and you can add bookmarks toolbar from there.

Workaround 2:
In about:config change preference mlalevic.jumpstart.top_toolbar (should be blank at this state) to place:folder=TOOLBAR

Thanks, that workaround worked (First one) :)

On a side note, now the "Show bookmarks toolbar" option really works... i
wonder what caused it as it was a fresh firefox install... maybe it was the
firefox Sync?

Thanks anyway!

This is a bug really, it used to work because on update from version 0.5a4.2 to
0.5a4.3 if "Show bookmarks toolbar" was checked conversion happened and
place:folder=TOOLBAR (workaround 2) was applied automatically.
On a freshly installed Firefox however, you don't have conversion because there
was no previous version so when you select that option nothing happens - fix
will be to auto populate this as with conversion.
